In compiling our curriculum, Ability School concentrates on the basics—reading, writing, arithmetic, spelling, and handwriting. These set the foundation for later studies. As with all study, full comprehension of the subject is our standard end result.

We use the successful reading program developed by Heron BooksTM and The Delphian SchoolTM, a boarding school in Oregon. The Reading Program takes students step-by-step through more and more difficult books and zones of knowledge, giving them great ability, ease and appreciation of reading. These books were chosen for their constructive content, literary importance and high moral value.

Our curriculum additionally includes dance, music and art. Also included are courses that were developed by Heron Books, some done solely on an elective basis. The list is as follows:
